SIGNAL // INSIDER & PROMOTER INTELLIGENCE

Follow the money.
Track what insiders
actually do.

3,774 insider trades. 15,000+ promoter records. 2,283 shareholding summaries. This is not Screener.in showing you a number. This is pattern recognition showing you what the number means.

DATA COVERAGE

Four dimensions of insider activity.

Insider Buy/Sell Transactions

3,774 trades

Every SAST disclosure filed with exchanges. Who bought, who sold, how much, at what price. Connected party analysis included.

Promoter Pledging Changes

Quarterly updates

Shares pledged by promoters as collateral. When pledge percentage rises, forced-selling risk increases. We track quarter-over-quarter changes.

Shareholding Pattern Shifts

2,283 summaries

Promoter, institutional, and public holding changes. DII/FII position shifts. Reclassification of shareholders.

Mutual Fund Position Changes

Monthly updates

Which schemes are adding, which are exiting. Concentration risk when single fund holds large position.

PATTERN DETECTION

We see patterns. Not just transactions.

Raw insider trade data is publicly available. The value is in detecting patterns that individual data points do not reveal.

Cluster Buying

HIGH SIGNAL

Multiple insiders buying within a 10-day window. When the CFO, a board member, and a key executive all buy simultaneously — they know something.

Pre-Event Selling

RED FLAG

Insider selling detected 30-60 days before bad results, regulatory action, or negative news. Pattern of exits before the market finds out.

Pledge Trigger Risk

CRITICAL

When stock price approaches the pledge threshold, lenders can force-sell shares. This creates a cascade — forced selling drives price lower, triggering more forced selling.

Divergence Signal

WATCH

Promoter buying while institutions sell, or vice versa. When insiders and institutional money disagree, someone is wrong.

PROMOTER CREDIBILITY SCORE

One number. Six dimensions.

The Promoter Credibility Score is a composite metric that answers a simple question: should you trust this management? Built from litigation history, pledging behavior, related party transactions, guidance delivery, board network risk, and trading patterns.

EXAMPLE

Reliance Industries 82/100

Strong track record on guidance delivery. Low litigation risk. No pledging. Clean RPT history. Minor network risk from one board connection.

20%

15%

RPT Behavior

15%

Guidance Delivery

15%

DIN Network Risk

15%

Trading Pattern

RISK SPOTLIGHT

The pledge trigger cascade.

When a promoter pledges shares as collateral, they create a hidden trigger. If the stock price falls to the pledge threshold, lenders force-sell shares into the market. This selling pushes the price lower, which triggers more force-selling. A company can lose 40-60% of its market cap in a week from pledge cascade alone.
